Using our services for free
Every registered user will recieve 2500
credits per month simply for registering. These credits may be used for any service we offer and is a great way to test the site and see if it viable for your
needs. If your needs exceed the 2500 credits per month
you will need to look into our partners program.
It is a very simple process, is free and is generally
approved within a day.
But I need more than 2500 records per month! What can I do?
Once you realize how incredible our site is and decide you want to continue using it, your first step should be to sign up as a partner.
Partners can add additional batches of 2,500 records
as frequently and as many times as they like.
This group of fine individuals just need to re-fill their account by
submitting a form
from within their account once their balance drops below 2,500 records.
We offer an API to query your account balance so you will know when you get low!
But I have xyz thousand/million records! What can I do?
Glad you asked. We have payment options for just the type of awesome person you are.
We currently provide one-time payments where you pay in advance for as many credits as you need. Monthly, pay-as-you-go, and SLA options are also available; these require custom setup.
Wait a minute, you said this was free. What the what?
Our services are free - For 99% of our users who only need to geocode a reasonable amount of data every now and again.
Servers cost money,
the accurate data we have which give you good resutls are super-duper expensive,
and the talented support staff all need to get paid,
despite our wishes that they would work for free.
We have to recoup some fees to help pay for all the jazz that keeps this show running and constantly improving.
How do we do it?
The fine folks who pay to use our services help support the costs of all of these things and more.
We have tons of users who pay tiny little amounts. We're talking 53 cents here, 4 dollars there.
It all adds up and keeps these services free for the other 99% of our users.
We also have many exceptionally awesome people who pay a lot. We're talking 100's of thousands-of-queries-per-day-lots.
These folks have built our APIs into their production SOA frameworks, their mobile apps, their websites, etc.
They rely on our services, pay for service level agreememnts, AND help cover the costs so that all the rest of you can use it at low to no cost.
We love all of our users, but we especially love people who pay any amount and hope you will consider becoming part of this excellent crew.
