We are pleased to announce that we have started getting a lot of usage on the Texas A&M WebGIS site! On a typical day, we get five new people to sign up and produce tens of thousands of geocodes.
Along with this increased service usage and surge of users, we have noticed that some users upload a database for processing and leave it on the servers indefinitely after it has been processed and downloaded. To allow as many people as possible to use the service, we are going to start automatically deleting uploaded files after 30 days.
If you need to keep your data on our server for longer than 30 days, e.g., if you are using the geocode correction service in a long running project, please just notify us and we will remove it from the deletion list.
If you have any questions or need any help, as always, let us know.
